Richard Clifford Taylor, aka Dick Taylor (Born 28 January 1943, Age 80) is an English Musician, best known as the guitarist and founding member for The Pretty Things.

Biography[]

He was an early bassist in The Rolling Stones, but he left the band to pursue his studies at Sidcup Art College. He formed the Pretty Things in September 1963, and the band officially broke up in 2018. He now lives on the Isle of Wight, England.

Trivia[]

  • Keith Richards also went to Sidcup Art College in 1959 after being expelled from Dartford Technical School for truancy. Quote from Dick: "There was a lot of music being played at Sidcup, and we'd go into the empty classrooms and fool around with our guitars. ...
